More homeowners moving up the ladder
New home developer David Wilson East Midlands reports that demand among existing homeowners seeking to move up the housing ladder, often to a larger new build home in order to accommodate more children, is improving.
The housebuilder revealed that 50% of its customer database now comprises people who are moving up to a larger new build home, and as a consequence it has announced measures to minimise the stress of moving home.
“These buyers constitute our typical customer so we make it our business to research every last fact about their requirements,” said Philip Lacey, sales director at David Wilson.
“We understand that they want more space to live in and somewhere big enough to entertain their friends.”
“Above all, they tell us that they want somewhere which will suit their children too, often because they won’t move again until the kids have grown up.”
“That is why David Wilson East Midlands looks to locate our developments close to good schools, in areas which are safe, friendly and close to vital amenities such as parks and shops.”
“These people tend to be very busy so we offer to take care of the process for them, talking them through suitable developments and explaining the incentives we can offer which will make it possible for them to move to the right home for them.”
For added piece of mind buyers can also benefit from David Wilson’s new five year guarantee on fixtures and fittings in their new home at the time of purchase.
This offer is currently available atDavid Wilson’s Oaklands development on Longstork Road in Rugby, which offers a wide range of new flats and houses, with prices ranging from £85,995 to £359,995.
